Princeton Center for Eating Disorders

Penn Medicine Princeton Center for Eating Disorders provides treatment for children, adolescents, and adults who are suffering from anorexia, bulimia and other eating disorders. Patients not only benefit from treatment for the physical, psychosocial and nutritional aspects of their eating disorder but also have immediate access to full-service care for other medical needs. Care begins with the development of an individualized, well-structured daily inpatient or partial hospital treatment program.

Our multi-disciplinary team and the patient’s treatment plan reinforce treatment goals while taking into account each patient’s individual needs. Treatment includes education groups, nutrition groups, mealtime support, meal planning, cooking groups and individual therapy. Each patient’s family is considered to be an integral part of the team and is included in treatment to help facilitate their role in the recovery of their loved ones. Patients are supported with structure and care for a foundation of lasting recovery.
