Brown University has a variety of resources for students struggling with eating disorders and other mental health concerns.

Project Heal - Brown University Chapter ImageThe Brown University chapter of Project HEAL, a nationwide organization that raises funds to help individuals afford eating disorder treatment, is an active voice for eating disorder awareness and recovery on campus. Project LETS is a national nonprofit that advocates for peer support services for those with mental health needs. Brown University’s student-run chapter of Project LETS regularly holds peer-facilitated eating disorder support groups and has an active Peer Mental Health Advocates program. Contact the organization’s student leaders at letsatbrown@gmail.com for more information.

These peer support programs are intended to supplement professional treatment for those currently grappling with an eating disorder. These resources are available at Brown’s Counseling and Psychological Services and through the B’Well Health Promotion.

The B’Well Health Promotion supports mental and physical health by empowering and informing students across campus.
