Center for Hope of the Sierras
Center for Hope of the Sierras is a leading provider of eating disorder treatment in a serene, tranquil setting. Our Nevada center is known for individualized, compassionate care and specialized treatment planning that is defined by each person’s unique goals.
At Center for Hope, we understand how hard it can be to take those first steps towards accessing treatment, and we applaud the bravery of each man, woman, and teen who seeks our support. Our staff of experienced medical and mental health professionals will be there to assist you in each step of your recovery journey.
During your time at Center for Hope, you’ll have access to a wide range of services to meet your treatment needs. Our programming focuses on mindfulness, and we encourage each person to work towards defining a unique sense of self.
We are pleased to offer residential care for those who need 24/7 supervision and support, and a break from the stressors and pressures of daily living.
In addition, we offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and two partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) for those who are ready to leave residential treatment, or for those who need more support than community-based care can provide.
Center for Hope offers individual, group, experiential, and family therapies, as well as gender-specific treatment tracks.
Throughout all of our treatment modalities, we focus on the tenets of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), a form of support that has proven to be effective for addressing trauma and disordered eating.
DBT focuses on creating greater validation and acceptance of oneself, which can be helpful in reversing the damaging impact of eating disorder symptoms.
In addition to treating eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, diabulimia, food addiction, laxative abuse, and compulsive overeating, we also provide treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions.
Often, mental illnesses like anxiety and depression go hand in hand with eating disorder symptoms, and in order to achieve lasting recovery, both conditions must be addressed simultaneously in treatment. For teen patients who are struggling with diabetes, we are pleased to offer specialized care for this additional concern.
When your time in residential treatment or one of our continuing care programs comes to a close, our staff will ensure that you have a thorough discharge plan in place to help you continue on your recovery journey.
At Center for Hope, we know that entering treatment is an important step in healing but that recovery is a lifelong process that will continue long after you leave our center. In order to promote lasting recovery, we’ll work collaboratively with you, your family, and other providers to outline appropriate next steps.
If you or someone you care about is struggling with an eating disorder, know that you’re not alone and that effective treatment is available.
With support from the treatment team at Center for Hope, you can heal and nourish your mind and body, and set the course for a strong and healthy future.
Our staff is always willing to answer any questions you may have about our programming and to assist you in starting the admissions process today.
