Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (SNAMHS)
Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services is home to many programs that can provide support or access to treatment for those struggling with mental health concerns. Both inpatient and outpatient help is available, including crisis response and stabilization, counseling and other treatments, and assessments and referrals. The program is available not only to those in Las Vegas but also to adults in Mesquite and Laughlin.
CARE Program – Clark County Behavioral Health and Crisis Intervention
The Community Advocacy Resources Engagement (CARE) Program is not designed to treat eating disorders specifically, but it can offer help for issues that are sometimes related to these concerns. The program assists those who have recently been reprimanded by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, providing mental health assessments and referrals to programs aimed at treating mental health issues, as well as those that help unhoused individuals.
