Kira Olson

Kira is a graduate of Taylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.  She is a certified Holistic Lifestyle Coach through the C.H.E.K. Institute and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with an Addictions Studies Certificate.  She has worked for over 8 years in the fields of mental, behavioral, and physical health with a variety of ages and populations.  Her experience has included working as an addictions group home counselor, life coaching developmentally disabled adults, and managing the Eating Disorders Resource Center, a nonprofit dedicated to eating disorder education, recovery, and advocacy.  She also has experience in sales and marketing, public speaking, and professional networking.  She currently mentors several girls struggling with eating disorders, facilitates recovery support groups for sufferers and their loved ones, and serves as a high school small group leader at her church.  As someone who has recovered from an eating disorder, she is passionate about sharing the hope of healing and empowering people to take ownership of their identity and lives.  Kira’s role involves outreach and marketing at events and conferences, sharing about Castlewood’s treatment programs, and developing and maintaining relationships with key providers and partners.
