Flavia Herzog Liebel MA, RD, LDN; Owner

Flavia Herzog Liebel MA, RD, LDN, is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist with over 25 years of nutrition counseling experience. She is the owner of Therapeutic Nutrition LLC, a small private practice with two dietitians. Her areas of expertise inlcude eating disorders, sports nutrition and intuitive eating.

Prior to opening her practice, Flavia was a pediatric outpatient dietitian at Einstein Medical Center and a Nutrition Therapist at the Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders. Flavia has also served as a consultant for St Joseph’s women’s basketball, Guardian Nurses, Zarret Rehab and Keystone Eye Associates. She has also been a featured writer for the Philadelphia Maven, where she had a monthly column on nutrition.

In addition to nutrition counseling and consulting, Flavia is deeply committed to academia, curriculum development, and teaching. She serves as an adjunct instructor at the University of Illinois, where she developed and teaches Nutrition Counseling and Treatment for Eating Disorders—one of the first courses of its kind.

She considers it both a privilege and a passion to educate future dietitians about the complexities of eating disorders. Her curriculum has earned strong recognition among students and colleagues and is now offered as two separate continuing education (CE) courses through the University.

Flavia has presented at many conferences including the Renfrew Center annual conference, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Annual Conference (FNCE), PA Dietetic Association’s Annual Conference and the Hawaii Dietetic Association’s annual conference. She is frequently asked to appear as a nutrition expert on both national and local television and online programs.

Flavia uses a non-diet, Health at Every Size ( HAES) approach to nutrition education and counseling. She strives to bring her clients HOPE that they can end their dieting, depriving and/or restricting cycle and finally understand what their body needs, wants and deserves!

Meghan Anderson, MS, RD, LDN; Lead dietitian at Therapeutic Nutrition LLC

Meghan received her Bachelors of Science degree in Dietetics & Nutrition from West Chester University of Pennsylvania prior to completing her Dietetic Residency with over 1200 hours of supervised practice, earning a Masters of Science degree in Advanced Nutrition Practice, and publishing her thesis research focused in sports nutrition out of D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. Meghan later completed 1.5 years of professional supervision as an eating disorder Dietitian.

Meghan joins Therapeutic Nutrition, LLC with 11 years of experience in the wellness industries. Prior to working in private practice, Meghan spent the earlier years of her Dietetics career in clinical practice as an inpatient Registered Dietitian and Director of Clinical Nutrition. Leveraging her extensive clinical background, Meghan is able to work closely with client physicians to seamlessly support overall health and wellness for continuity of care in the outpatient setting.

In conjunction with her professional supervision as an eating disorder Dietitian, Meghan has devoted 15 years of self-study in eating disorders with a dedicated life mission to support others in their eating disorder recovery journey.

In recent years, Meghan has transitioned into her current role as an outpatient Dietitian in private practice providing one-on-one nutrition counseling within the scope of eating disorders, sports nutrition, general health, disease management, and corporate wellness. Meghan supports each client’s unique journey with an “all food fits” approach offering realistic and sustainable strategies rooted in evidence-based science.

She values the importance of meeting each client exactly where they are at the start of their journey. Meghan recognizes that each client’s journey is not linear and although challenges are anticipated, they are only temporary and wonderful opportunities to learn and grow. She takes great pride in joining clients in their journey to achieving overall health and wellness while striking a harmonious balance in their relationship with food and the body.
