EDH: It’s great to have you all here today! Let’s get started with some of our questions.

EDH: @therediclinic: Please tell us a little bit about yourself and your current role.

Redi Clinic: I have been involved in treatment and research related to eating disorders for 20 years.

Redi Clinic: I was the previous Medical Director of all Eating Disorder Services at Rogers Memorial Hospital from 2001 to 2004.

Redi Clinic: I also served as the director of the depression treatment program at the University of Wisconsin.

Redi Clinic: I have been honored as a fellow of the Academy of Eating Disorders.

Redi Clinic: I am also a member of the Eating Disorder Research Society and have written over 50 publications.

Redi Clinic: Lastly, I have served on the Board of Directors for the Eating Disorder Coalition.

EDH: @therediclinic: Can you please tell us The Redi Clinic?

Redi Clinic: The Redi Clinic is an outpatient treatment clinic located by the Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa.

Redi Clinic: This treatment center provides comprehensive care for adults, adolescents, and children with eating disorders.

Redi Clinic: This includes psychiatric, psychotherapeutic, nutritional care and family therapy.

Redi Clinic: The Redi Clinic also offers intensive outpatient treatment for eating disorders (IOP)

EDH: @therediclinic: What are unique aspects about The Redi Clinic Approach to treating eating disorders?

Redi Clinic: Treatment at the Redi clinic is individualized to meet the needs of each person and family.

Redi Clinic: We are committed to providing the highest quality care based on the latest research in the eating disorder treatment field.

Redi Clinic: We are also committed to collaborating with other treatment providers involved in the lives of the clients we serve.

Redi Clinic: The Redi Clinic has an expert team of therapists, dietitians and nurses all specializing in treating eating disorders in one practice

Redi Clinic: We are able to coordinate treatment plans with patients, their families, and each member of the multi-disciplinary team.

EDH: @therediclinic: What types of eating disorders are treated at the outpatient level?

Redi Clinic: Our outpatient treatment clinic is specialized in providing eating disorder treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and compulsive overeating.

Redi Clinic: Intensive Outpatient/Outpatient care is appropriate for a person who is medically stable and does not require daily medical monitoring or supervision.

Redi Clinic: The client should also be psychiatrically stable, continue to make progress in recovery, and have symptoms sufficiently under control
