Arizona Eating Disorder Treatment Centers

Eating Disorder Hope has put together a list of Arizona eating disorders treatment centers to help you or your loved one find the best eating disorder program for your situation.

Choosing a treatment center for an eating disorder can be one of the most important decisions you will ever make. A well-planned treatment program supported by a dedicated treatment team and on-site medical supervision can make the difference between continued struggles from anorexia, bulimia, or binge eating disorder, or the start of recovery.

Our treatment center directory provides detailed information about each of these AZ eating disorder facilities and will quickly tell you:

Mirasol Eating Disorder Recovery Centers

Mirasol is a small, independently owned eating disorder center dedicated to integrative treatment of anorexia, bulimia and binge eating.  We provide residential and day treatment for teens and adults at three locations in Tucson, Arizona.  With no more than 10 beds at any location and a 3:1 staff:client ratio, we provide extraordinary individual attention in a safe and loving environment that supports change.

Instead of focusing on suppressing eating disorder symptoms, we identify the root of the problem and develop new ways of communicating and coping.

Mirasol has consistently led the way in alternative treatment of eating disorders, combining holistic therapies such as acupuncture, yoga, equine therapy and adventure therapy with traditional treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).  Mirasol pioneered the use of neurofeedback for the treatment of eating disorders and specializes in the treatment of eating disorders with co-occurring complex trauma and PTSD.
