National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC)

This non-profit based out of Toronto promotes eating disorder awareness and prevention efforts throughout all of Canada.



Eating Disorder Association of Canada

Eating Disorders Association of Canada (EDAC) is an organization of eating disorder professionals. The mandate of EDAC is to best serve the needs of those whose lives are impacted by eating disorders.



Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association (BANA)

This non-profit charity and community-based organization advocates for eating disorder awareness and treatment. BANA services the counties of Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, and Sarnia-Lambton in Ontario, Canada.



British Columbia Eating Disorders Association

BCEDA aims to tackle the current eating disorder epidemic through education, advocacy, resource information, and support.



Eating Disorders Foundation of Canada

This organization supports local community groups and initiatives that increase eating disorder awareness and education.



National Initiative for Eating Disorders (NIED)

NIED has helpful resources and events that inspire change within the eating disorder community.



Eating Disorders of York Region

This grassroots non-profit supports individuals touched by an eating disorder in any way through support groups, workshops, and day programs.




Hopewell’s support groups and mentoring programs help those in eating disorder recovery and their loved ones.



Looking Glass Foundation

This organization founded the first and only adolescent residential eating disorder facility in Canada and has a host of other resources available to the community.

Looking Glass Foundation launched a peer support program called Hand in Hand that connects well-trained volunteers with individuals of all ages who might be struggling with an eating disorder. Supervised by an eating disorder therapist, Hand in Hand provides consistent face-to-face support for those in recovery and their loved ones.
