Anmarie Reed, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Clinical Director of Prosperity Eating Disorder and Wellness Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with over a decade of clinical experience specializing in eating disorder treatment and recovery. She also brings personal lived experience to this work, which deeply informs how she writes and thinks about recovery. She is seeking representation for a book, Starving for Safety: The Connection Between Trauma and Eating Disorders, which explores the role of safety, survival, and grief in the healing process.
