North Carolina Treatment Centers for Eating Disorders

Eating Disorder Hope has compiled a directory of eating disorders treatment centers in North Carolina.

Locating the right eating disorder treatment center can be a life-changing decision for someone struggling with anorexia nervosa, bulimia, or binge eating disorders. A well-planned treatment program supported by an experienced treatment team and on-site medical supervision can make the difference between a continuing struggle and the start of recovery.

Conduct your own research into the eating disorder clinic or treatment center that best fits your specific circumstances. Some families find that a treatment center out of state may be best suited for their loved one. Carefully investigate all of your eating disorder treatment options.

    Tapestry Eating Disorder Recovery

Nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Tapestry is a unique residential treatment center based around the belief that continued recovery is a process best cultivated outside of institutional settings. Our programs were developed to provide an affordable alternative to the high cost of extended treatment for Eating Disorders.

We know that lasting recovery is built on learning to balance your mind and body in the midst of real life, and our goal is to support the individuals in our care as they begin to develop and utilize recovery skills. Tapestry’s residential program treats women 18 and over and it’s Partial Hospitalization Program treats both women and men ages 18 and over. Because we believe each person is entitled to individualized care, the treatment program is fully customizable. Reclaim your strength; Reclaim your life.

TranscendED, a recovery-oriented treatment facility, believes that true recovery from an eating disorder is possible. In our program, each individual has a unique treatment plan because each person’s recovery should be unique to her needs. Our entire staff’s primarily focus is on creating a safe, comforting, and healing place for each individual, with an emphasis on building CONNECTION with the individual seeking care. Because eating disorders encourage isolation in the individual, experiencing healthy and reliable relationships is key to the recovery process.

We use empirically based treatment techniques such as Interpersonal, Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical-Behavioral, and Family-based therapy. We help individuals become physically and medically stable so they can begin to develop healthy eating patterns, and can identify and begin to heal the emotional issues that trigger eating disorder symptoms. We strive to provide quality treatment, multidisciplinary education, and abundant support for the individual and her loved ones.
