Meal therapy: Teens and Parents learn techniques for refeeding and introduction of foods that have been omitted, to reduce rituals and increase flexibility around meals. Dietitians meet regularly with families and the adolescent to provide individualized support focused on specific challenges.
Group therapies: Teens learn skills to help manage emotion and negotiate typical adolescent concerns including peer relationships, school, and transition to increasing independence.
Treatment focuses on age appropriate concerns with an emphasis on mobilizing resources with the goal of building skills to eat independently but with the support of others. Adults will have separated community spaces and special groups.
