Selah House provides Residential treatment for women 18 and older suffering from anorexia, bulimia, and related issues. Our home-like environment creates a safe place for residents to develop the tools necessary for a life free from an eating disorder. Selah's program consists of various therapeutic approaches including: individual, group, cognitive behavioral, experiential approaches, equine program, family therapy, art therapy, medical monitoring, psychiatric care, dance and movement, spiritual and nutrition counseling.
At Selah House we combine biblical truths, science-based therapies, and a deep love for our residents and their families to facilitate genuine and lasting healing from the devastating effects of eating disorders. Our unique ability to connect with our residents stems from the personal journeys that many of the staff have taken to overcome eating disorders in their own lives.
The first step is to schedule a comprehensive assessment with our Admissions Director. It usually takes a couple of hours and can be done over the phone when excessive travel makes it impossible to come to our residential facility. Our multi-disciplinary treatment team, including our Psychiatrist reviews all the information and a specific recommendation is made as to what level of care is necessary for each individual person.
